When Iryna of Forest Toys got in touch to ask if I might like to collaborate I didn’t hesitate. As soon as I set eyes on her Vintage Rabbit pattern, I knew the answer would be yes please. I love the simple, nostalgic feel to this little bunny. It reminds me of one I had – and loved – as a child. Iryna has created THE most adorable collection of soft toy knitting patterns on Etsy and I feel sure you’ll enjoy discovering – and making! – them. Not to mention getting your hands on this exclusive Vintage Rabbit pattern for free. I hope whoever you make your little bunny for loves it as much as I loved the one I had as a little girl.

Iryna has created a world of gentle beauty – discover the sweetest little cuddly toys to knit – from mice to cats and everything in between.
I’ll share some of my favourite patterns from her Etsy collection further down the post. But first, huge thanks to Iryna for sharing her Vintage Rabbit pattern (also available to buy on Etsy) with us for free. Download the free pattern here.

Forest Toys patterns on Etsy
Iryna has a heart-warming collection of soft toy patterns for sale on Etsy. She created her first knitted toy for her first daughter, five years ago, then for her second… and decided to share the patterns she’d created… and to start designing more. She’s now created a sizeable collection of lovable soft toys to knit. Hope you enjoy browsing her collection here and find something you can’t resist knitting. I’ve picked out a few of my own favourites below, but do let me know how you get on. I always love to see the photos of your finished creations!

I also love this lovable little moth called Molly.
