English farm flower box from The Real Flower company
I just wanted to quickly share with you a great new idea from The Real Flower company. You can now send a Fresh from the Farm English Flower box filled with seasonal flowers grown on their sustainable Hampshire farm. It costs £28 and includes a freshly picked selection of what’s growing on the farm that week. You can enjoy all the usual benefits of ordering with the RFC – reliable, next-day or specified delivery and smart, sustainable packaging. You can also add in extras too if you’d like, including chocolates, candles and flower-arranging accessories. The flowers included in each week’s box change with the seasons, which I love. I’ve shared images of 3 different boxes to give you a flavour.
The perfect seasonal flower box
I came across the farm flower box last week when I was searching for inspiration. I wanted to send a little something to a friend we were supposed to be staying with this weekend. The plan was for us and a couple of other good friends to head to her house in Devon for a surprise birthday celebration. Lockdown restrictions obviously mean our plans have been postponed for now. The surprise turned out not to be the one we’d hoped for. So I was looking for something to cheer my lovely friend up a little, and to say happy birthday. But I only wanted to spend about £30.
The fresh from the farm english flower box was absolutely perfect. The flowers themselves cost £28. I added a gift message and specified the day I’d like it delivered. Shipping was an extra £4.99 for weekday delivery. There are next day and weekend delivery options too. The ordering process couldn’t have been easier. On the day of the delivery itself I received email confirmation that John would be delivering my RFC flowers within a 1-hour time slot. It’s fair to say the flowers went down very well with my friend, who texted me to say they were so lovely she felt like crying. Best £32.99 I’ve spent for ages. I’d been chatting with the RFC about Rosebie (owner of RFC) doing some tutorials for us and was checking out a recent video Rosebie made to demonstrate the Small Perfect Arranger
It’s a brilliant bit of kit for anyone keen to avoid florist’s foam (a source of micro plastics). I watched the video and that’s how I discovered the new farm flower box idea.
Here’s the video that led me to find the new fresh from the farm flower box… Hope you are glad to have discovered it too.
