Free Christmas knitting patterns you’re sure to love. As free knitting patterns go, these have to be the most festive!
I know. We’ve barely said goodbye to Summer or the search for cute halloween knitting patterns, so it might seem somewhat premature to be focussed on the festive season. I do have my reasons though. Firstly, if you’re anything like me, you will need lots of time to actually finish making anything you decide to start. Particularly if you’re planning to make a set of anything, like decorations for your tree – or a fair isle Christmas dress! If you’re a beginner to knitting do not fear! There are ideas using the simplest of stitches: knit, pear and garter stitch too with simple step by step instructions.
Secondly, I’m coming to realise, as I get to know more of you from your messages, how super organised and hungry for creative ideas many of you are. So I’m thinking you might already be planning your Christmas craft projects. Or at least starting to put together some new ideas for this. Either way, it makes sense to share the wonderful free Christmas knitting patterns I’ve been squirrelling away with you sooner rather than later. Plus, we did have the first frosty morning today, so it feels palatable now. Hope you enjoy! If you’re reading this mid December don’t worry – see this as your last call to knit something you love this Christmas! Hope you find joyful things to make with your knitting needles this festive season. I love that you’re such a creative lot. x
