Kate creates handmade stoneware pottery that blends a modern rustic aesthetic with wonderfully tactile textures. A trained graphic designer, she transitioned to ceramics full-time in 2016.

Kate’s signature design style is all about intricate patterns she hand carves. When her wheel-thrown or hand-built stoneware reaches a leather-hard state, she painstakingly hand-carves intricate repeating lines, facets, and geometric patterns into the surface. Because each mark is carved individually, no two pieces are identical.
