Eas Fors is a new design-led knitwear brand based on the remote Scottish Isle of Mull. Reflecting the wild beauty of the Hebridean islands, pieces are thoughtfully made on a small scale using all-natural ethically sourced wool fibres.

Feàrna Shawl
My own favourite is this stunning Feàrna Shawl in the Dulse colourway. Taking inspiration from forms found within the local Scottish woodlands, the recurring texture is reminiscent of alder catkin, acorn or pine cone, creating pockets within the fabric. As well as offering a textural interest and beauty, these pockets will keep you warm whilst feeling light against the skin. Hand-knitted in luxury grade 100% superfine lambswool in the remote Eas Fors studio on the island, this is really something special. I love the deep and rich rich seaweed-inspired colour. Just lovely.
Wave Scarf in Rust
Crafted in double jacquard and also hand made on the Isle of Mull, the motif of this super cosy scarf is inspired by the lapping waves of the sea. I adore the dried bracken-like rusty colour and it’s perfect for layering on cold or unpredictable days. Another hard-working beauty.
Ethically made with cruelty-free lambswool
Not all lambswool is the same. So it’s reassuring to know that the luxury grade lambswool used to create the Eas Fors collection is sustainably sourced, cruelty and mulesing free and spun on the banks of Loch Leven.
It’s worth noting, too, that Eas Fors contribute a percentage of each sale towards tree planting through the Eden Reforestation Projects.
