Lolly and Boo

Lolly & Boo was born in early 2010 just after my second daughter, Alice (aka Boo), was born.

I was inspired to create a personalised picture for her bedroom and began experimenting with paper shapes. I knew I wanted to create fresh, clean designs which look simple and beautiful.

As a result, Lolly & Boo began specialising in designing and making unique, original artwork using cut out paper shapes mounted in box frames. And we have made hundreds of pictures since! They are very popular as new baby, christening or birthday gifts. Each picture is individually made and completely unique, with each shape mounted to give a beautiful overall effect.

Our ever growing collection of lampshades was added in late 2012 but took off in a completely unexpected way. It is now by far the main element of the business. A great excuse for me to indulge my love of buying beautiful fabrics – something which I can truly justify now!! We now sell a large range of designs with fabrics from Peony & Sage, Raw Xclusive, Sarah Hardaker, Katie Mosa, Milton & Manor, and many other gorgeous fabrics which have caught my eye.

In 2013 my great friend Louisa joined the business and she makes all of the tapered lampshades as well as several of the other designs we sell.  Our names cause a bit of confusion but we are a super team!

We are now well known for our country inspired fabric drum lampshades and each one is handmade to order with great attention to detail, to provide the perfect finishing touch for your home.

We make standard drum lampshades in a range of sizes, as well as tapered drum lampshades in some fabrics (not all of the fabrics we use are suitable for tapered drums) to give a slightly different look.
