JamJar is a floral design studio and contemporary flower pressing studio with a curated edit of artwork and homewares. Based in London, our two studios are led by a collective of artists and florists, with seasonality and sustainable practices at the heart of our work.
A chance commission from Mulberry to press flowers for their SS15 show invitations inspired us to explore and ultimately reinvent the traditional craft of flower pressing. We press plant species through the seasons; we grow our own, source from British growers, and repurpose event flowers returning to the JamJar Flowers studio to minimise waste.
Our studio is piled high with flower presses; we maintain an ever-evolving archive of pressings at our London studio, from which we create one-off pieces or curated collections of botanicals.
The Flower Pressing Studio
Our flower pressing studio specialises in creating pressed flower artworks, from ready-to-buy pieces to ambitious installations, private commissions and exhibitions. We offer workshops at our London studio and select locations across the UK and Europe. Our book, The Modern Flower Press, is the go-to-guide for pressing flowers in the 21st century.
