Snapdragon Life – the ethos
Often it is easy to forget the simplest things:
That we feel better when we spend time in nature: That we love being creative and making things with our hands.
All these things are scientifically proven; but we also know them deep inside ourselves.
At Snapdragon Life I help people who want to bring more creativity & nature into their lives.
I do this in three ways:
1 The Studio Club
The Studio Club is a monthly membership where we work together on a seasonal theme. It might be dyeing embroidery threads with flowers, it might be making herbal balms, it might be creating an heirloom patchwork stocking or a journal. It is always hands on.
Sprinkled amidst all that are field notes, recipes, book recommendations, and ideas for slowing down and living a more engaged life.
It is an affordable way to participate in real time, working together, being able to ask questions and get support.
There is also a private community, discounted supplies, amazing library of courses and exclusive live chats with experts from the worlds of textiles, design, gardening, writing and foraging.
2 Studio Courses
These are for you if you want to learn a specific skill – be it freehand machine embroidery, no dig gardening or making paper collages.
Self paced, a mix of video, step by step tutorials and downloads.
They are yours to keep forever.
3 The Shop
Find kits, studio companions, creative provisions and seasonal treasures.
About me
Eighteen years ago my dream career fell apart when I developed a serious auto immune disease.
