La Juniper for Conscientious Homeware and Gifts, all produced ethically and many hand made in the UK.
La Juniper was started with the aim of celebrating homes and gift giving, with the focus on conscientious consumerism.
At Home of Juniper we sell a distinctive collection of products; including well-being ranges, kitchenware, stationery, home decor, textiles and gifts. Products are carefully chosen not only for their usefulness and beauty, but also for their provenance.
We treasure the stories behind the products we sell, and research the companies and individuals that we work with. We are proud to support British designers and makers, while also support ethical craftsmanship from further afield. By concentrating on the stories and people behind our products, we aim to create a unique and positive buying experience.
We are committed to bringing you quality products with a high standard of customer service, and hope this makes your experience with us enjoyable and trouble-free.
Ethics
As a company we aim to be as ethical as possible.
We are doing this in various ways-
Firstly in supporting small UK designers and makers.
Secondly by supporting ethical and fair-trade artisans and producers from abroad. Though some of our producers do not have fair-trade status yet, the ones that don’t are all regularly checked to make sure they adhere to ethical production and some of them are applying to receive their fair-trade status currently…we are keeping our fingers crossed for them.
At Home of Juniper we produce as little waste as we can. We do this by re-using everything we can, and recycling as much as we can of what is left. We also aim to encourage our customers to do the same.
The Future
Our future aims are always developing – we will keep you updated when we can.
For example, we plan to have a bricks and mortar shop when the right one comes along (and we will of course be letting you know where and when).
Another aim we have at Home of Juniper is to maintain the great relationships we have with our producers and customers. And to increase the amount of people we work with and who work with us (because that is what makes the world go round).
We aim to develop our product range to help support new British designers and ethical producers.
And we aim to do all this whilst being as eco-friendly as we can.
