  • The Traditional Flower Company is based on a farm in Staffordshire. We grow scented roses, cut herbs, seasonal flowers and foraging from the hedgerows. Our RHS award winning team of flower stylists create rustic, country inspired designs. We use fresh & dried flowers (from our sister company The Artisan Dried Flower Co).

The Traditional Flower Company was started by Sam Ellson back in 2006 after many years of growing old fashioned flowers and herbs in her kitchen garden. She realised that no-one was selling British seasonal flowers as nature intended.

    the traditional flower company

We grow and sell luxury flower gifts and bouquets of the highest quality at realistic prices for everyone to enjoy working with the British seasons here on our Staffordshire farm.

We can pick and send direct from the field within 24 hours with no air miles or the huge carbon footprint that over 85% of the flowers sold in the UK are responsible for.

All of our flowers are hand-picked and collected early in the morning by our team of expert pickers. They are then carefully conditioned to ensure maximum freshness and vase life.

    The Botanical Farmer

The latest addition to our stable is The Botanical Farmer. This was created as a way of using up everything that we grow, not just the flower stems. But using the petals and all of the plant. We now sell bath products and home fragrance using natural ingredients.
