Wild Paper Florist

Love the sound of the Wild Paper Florist – the creation of Nikita Crocker who designs and creates exquisite paper flowers by hand. She describes how she got started: ‘I got this crazy idea to start a paper flower business a little while ago and I’ve gone from whispering the dream to my nearest and dearest to making it a reality! And I couldn’t be happier that I made the jump, I’m learning every day. Thanks for following along, I hope to make your life brighter with flowers one day!
japanese linen apron with crossover back handmade by scattergood and taylor. click through to find out more

Scattergood & Taylor

I’ve been wanting a cross-over Japanese style apron for a while now and this one by Scattergood & Taylor caught my eye. I love that the concept behind Scattergood & Taylor was born whilst the co-founders – Anne and Sarah – were sewing sequins onto costumes on board a cruise liner in the middle of the Atlantic ocean. Both women share a passion for simple lines, classic shapes and creating garments that will last. Their ethos sounds right up my street.

What’s on

There’s a wide choice of experts and makers offering inspirational talks, classes and more. Check out the full list here. We’ll be making sure to catch up with the lovely Zeena Shah, (who is listed in our directory) and running workshops on creating your own lino prints.
