Wool and the Gang Billie Jean recycled yarn

Get crafty with sustainable, 100% upcycled Billie Jean denim yarn from Wool and the Gang.

Wool and the Gang is a cult knit brand with a fun-filled approach to crafting. Their Billie Jean yarn feels like a smooth cotton, but is actually crafted from pure recycled denim – saving 20,000 litres of water for each kilo of upcycled blue jeans. Spun from pre-consumer remnants sourced at factories and mills, this chemical- and dye-free yarn is made from respun offcuts that have been saved from the fate of landfill. Perfect for summer knits, Billie Jean is cool and light with beautiful drape that works well for sweaters, tops and accessories.

Please note: Like the blue jean denim it’s made from, Billie Jean recycled denim yarn may fade a little during the first few washes, with a small amount of colour transfer.
