About Suzy Bonomini ethical knitwear

Suzy Bonomini has been knitting professionally for almost 20 years and established a reputation with a look that is informal yet elegant and feminine. Her light, soft knitwear is comfortable to wear all year round whether casual or smart, and expresses her love for natural ethical yarns and slow sustainable fashion.

Suzy has a strong belief in local craft rather than mass production, sustainability through slow, carefully made knitwear which lasts, entwining luxury with functionality.

Suzy makes all her pieces with yarn sourced from cruelty-free suppliers.

A choice of high quality wools lends a textural and tactile element to her designs, choose from decadent cashmere, soft merino (from Scotland), cosy lambswool, fluffy angora or lightweight, vegan cotton.
Suzy has also designed for men, children and babies.

Suzy grew up in the Swiss Alps where her passion for knitwear began, watching family and local artisans create beautiful, warm and practical knits that would be handed down for generations! She now works from home in London where she lives with her artist husband, Mark, and their cat Pythagoras.
