Discover Miranda Hackett Flowers
With a focus on appreciating nature as it is we concentrate on promoting the natural characteristics of flowers and styling in a soft and romantic fashion – twirling tendrils and all!
We are an artisan event florist with a focus on whimsical designs for high end weddings and events. We are based in the South Hams in Devon and cover weddings and events all over the South West, and in London.
We offer a warm and friendly service, with lots of creative ideas and infectious enthusiasm. We choose beautifully fresh seasonal flowers sourced from well established wholesalers and locally grown treasures from smaller artisan suppliers.
Based in the heart of the South West countryside we work in some of the most beautiful and wide ranging locations countrywide – from local old stone barns, churches and tipi’s to stately homes, high end London and polo clubs, and Chapel Royal at St James’ palace.
In 2010 Miranda set up Miranda Hackett Flowers in Bray, Berkshire and in 2017 moved to South Devon where she continues to work for London and local customers, alongside running workshops where she demonstrates how to achieve her style of artisanal floristry.
Miranda’s style is soft and natural with a focus on loose and freely styled designs with an English country garden feel. Flower sourcing, seasonality and sustainability are intrinsic to Miranda Hackett Flowers, and we have a deep commitment to sourcing from local growers (predominantly Devon and Cornish) and using sustainable methods.
Miranda has run many floral workshops and demonstrations in the past including the very successful series held for some years at Heston Blumenthal’s Michelin starred The Hinds Head in Bray and more recently at award-winning chef Emily Scott’s Michelin rated St Tudy Inn in Cornwall.
