At the Weald Smokery we produce traditionally smoked foods created with passion, pride and care. Our desire is that everyone will enjoy the unique flavour of the Weald, making eating or sharing our products an experience to enjoy, savour and remember.
We choose everything, from our raw ingredients to the oak we burn in our kilns, for the authentic flavour it imparts to our smoked fish, meats and cheeses. The result is truly fine smoked food available to buy from an ancient corner of England, with a reputation that’s second to none.
The Kiln Room
If you’re in the area, why not visit our brasserie at the smokery – The Kiln Room. Our lunch menu changes with the seasons but will always be based on our award winning smoked food.
Favourites include our award winning smoked salmon and free range scrambled eggs with toasted Lighthouse Bakery bread. Or The Smokehouse sharing platter. This includes Smoked salmon, smoked trout and hot roast salmon pate. Served with pickled cucumber, dill sauce, mixed salad & Lighthouse Bakery bread
The Kiln Room is also fully licensed, so you can enjoy a glass of wine or a spot of bubbly. You can also dine alfresco on our new terrace. Or simply enjoy a coffee on a sunny morni
