Quality, taste and excellence are the enduring hallmarks of our award-winning range of English cheeses. We combine meticulous attention to hygiene with traditional methods including cutting, moulding and turning, all performed entirely by hand. At pur cheese dairy you can look in on the making areas and follow the process from start to finish.
Sharpham Brie was named runner-up as the Best Soft Cheese and runner-up as the People’s Choice award at the Great British Cheese Awards. Over 7,500 people voted for their favourite cheeses.
Starting in 1981, the 18th century coach yard of Sharpham House has been home to our creamery. We use the rich milk from our Jersey cattle and vegetarian rennet. Our unpasteurised cheeses have proved so popular that demand now far exceeds supply. In April 2003 we moved into our new purpose-built creamery sited ne
