About Pheasant Botanica
Pheasant Botanica strives to work with nature and the different flora and fauna that each season has to offer. Creating something a little bit wild and unruly, taking inspiration from the surrounding fields, trees and hedgerows.
Set between the rolling hills and valleys of beautiful Mid Wales, Pheasant Botanica is the vision of Donna Bowen-Heath. The idea of not only creating floral designs, reflecting nature but, growing the flowers herself, to use as well.
After completing a degree in Theatre Studies, Donna returned home to the family farm and took a summer position at an established nursery. Here, she was able to learn about the nature and nurture of plants and her passion was born.
Now based on the family farm growing a range of seasonal flowers in all weathers, Donna divides her time between nurturing flowers, floral design and raising her three young daughters.

Donna, owner of Pheasant Botanica, is based in the rugged countryside of mid Wales, where she grows as many of her own flowers as possible on a rather windswept and wet hillside.Donna loves adding a magic touch to a wedding or event with some larger than life blooms and the odd branch or two!!

The flower farm
At Pheasant Botanica we aim to grow as much of the flowers that we use as possible.Set on a Welsh hill, with the ground a little more damp than we would like and with harsh winds blowing up the valley, this often proves challenging.
However, with a little perseverance and a lot of nurturing, we are able to grow beautiful blooms from the humble cornflower, to the ever so fragrant sweet pea to big blousy roses.
