Unique Christmas gifts – ideas for the home
It’s so hard to choose from the collection and this is the area where I have the most products, but my favourites are the ceramic coffee cups by Wendy Calder – lovely toasted warm clay and white slip colour combination with the scraffito nature prints. Being a big coffee lover, I love to drink out of really nice cups.
I also love the leaf print clay coasters – these were made bespoke for These Two Hands by Charlie Brandon-King as she knows how much I love leaves, especially autumnal ones! I have the Autumn orange set but I love them in both colours.
My other top pick from the homewares collection are the beautiful pressed flower in handmade glass frames by Paly Glass. Hang them in the window with velvet ribbon, or from twigs, or on the wall. A piece of nature to treasure forever.
Unique Christmas gifts – ideas for little ones
I love the super soft and cosy suede and shearling baby moccasins crafted by Rose Choules in Bude. They are so cute and so warm for tiny feet!
This short film gives a great glimpse behind the scenes and really gets across the special, handmade quality of the shoes.
I also love the super soft stag print baby trousers by Jess Clogg – it’s hard to convey online just how soft they are. I made everyone at the Christmas market feel them this weekend so they could see for themselves and I had so many adults asking if Jess could make them a pair in adult sizes! 😉
Unique Christmas gifts – ideas for jewellery lovers
I am in awe of the stunning miniature real oak leaves and acorns cast in silver, red and yellow bronze by Bethan Jarvis! She collects the tiny leaves in Snowdonia and then casts each leaf to make these stunning rings. I have the two-tone copper and silver leaf wrap ring and it looks so beautiful on. They are all fully adjustable too so you don’t have to worry about knowing someone’s ring size which is handy!
Unique Christmas gifts – stocking fillers
The book I’m getting everyone for Christmas is one I was lucky enough to work on with Alastair Sawday and it’s such a great idea, I knew it would do really well. It’s called The Extra Mile Guide and it’s a great guide to lovely independent farm shops and cafés that are just off the motorway and where you can stop off at instead of horribly bland service stations! I really hate service stations and I’ve been wanting something like this for years. It came out a few weeks ago and we’ve used our copy lots already. It’s a great Christmas gift!
I’m also a big fan of notebooks and nice pens, so the lino-printed notebooks from Charlie Brandon King make a lovely gift.
And the screenprinted pencil case by Megan Alice England. I’m also doing these as a special set just for Christmas for £20 (RRP £23).
