Best of Britannia
Last week I headed over to Clerkenwell for the Best of Britannia event – a fascinating celebration of British creativity, innovation and style.
Best of Britannia event
The industrial setting of the Farmiloe Building was the perfect backdrop for a carefully selected gathering of British designers. They had all come together for three days to show the world just what makes the British Isles such a hotbed of talent and creativity. From fashion designers to shoemakers and food producers to boat builders, the show brought together the very best of British style, leaving visitors in no doubt that the recurring refrain of “we don’t make anything here any more” couldn’t be further from the truth.
Our favourite finds
Probably our find of the show was Lane. We love their midcentury inspired prints and homeware.
Feast your eyes on just a few of the other beautiful British made products that we spotted at the show, and find out more about the brands showcased at Best of Britannia at www.bestofbritannia.com.
