Wild Acre jewellery is handmade in my studio, using sustainably sourced precious metals and carefully chosen gemstones. I create handmade, contemporary jewellery that is inspired by nature and reflects the beautiful shapes, patterns and textures I find in the watermeadow landscape I live in and the North Norfolk coast that i have known since childhood.
Where and how are your products made?I am studio based and use time honoured goldsmithing skills, wax carving techniques and particularly love my piercing saw and rolling mill! I strive to make my studio practice as environmentally clean as possible and my sourcing as ethical and sustainable as I can. I use 100% recycled precious metals as much as I can, and have recently become licensed to use Fairtrade Gold.
Why do you do what you do?Making jewellery affords me the opportunity to explore the beauty of the natural world in a focused and productive way, creating pieces that I hope people will love wearing and giving. I love making jewellery with clean lines and minimalistic, quiet confidence, for women and men who appreciate those qualities.
