About us...

The Dressing Up Chest creates traditional, age appropriate costumes for girls and boys for fancy dress and dressing up, as well as costumes for stage and dance.

As a child my favourite pastimes were dressing up and making clothes for my dolls. As a Mother I have adored making costumes for my children from their first nursery Nativity to school plays and dance shows. I am not a Granny (yet!) so I am dedicated to making delightful handmade dressing-up costumes for your little ones.

Whether you need a costume for a school play or a birthday party, I can create a beautiful handmade outfit which will be treasured by your children, and for generations to come. If you would like a different fabric or a different colour, just let me know. Or I can even make something completely bespoke for you.
