From Britain with Love

About us...

We are a small handmade textiles and homewares company based in Newlyn, a busy, messy, industrious fishing village in the far west of Cornwall.

Art and fishing have mingled for centuries here and we are following in the tradition, stepping over sharks to get into the studio and using fish boxes to store thread.

Poppy started small, back in 2004, selling to one or two galleries locally but four years on the team has grown from just Poppy and one cranky singer sewing machine to 7 people and 13 cranky singer sewing machines!

The products are all still made here in Cornwall and inspired by our beautiful surroundings and we plan to keep it that way. It's nice to feel we are providing a creative, friendly workplace in the county where we grew up.
