We are a stylish, luxury self-catering boutique on the Isle of Skye. A vintage retreat offering a quirky, retro, eco-friendly & organic holiday experience.

Mungo’s Den is a unique Scottish holiday retreat on the beautiful Island of Skye. Perfect as a honeymoon hideaway, it is nestled within the quiet heart of the friendly crofting hamlet of Portnalong on the Minginish Peninsula of North West Skye, amongst spectacular scenery & wildlife. It is an ideal base from which to explore the island for romantic couples & adults.

Hidden within its traditional exterior you will find boutique self-catering accommodation of the highest standard. Mungo’s Den (once an old telephone exchange & post office) has been lovingly rescued & restored by the owners, Andrew & Maddy. It offers a stylish, eco friendly, organic holiday experience; full of luxurious & eclectic furnishings. It has a calm, restful atmosphere with an inspirational style & character full of original & vintage objects that speak of timeless quality.
