About us...

We offer a luxury, self catering retreat in the heart of the Lancashire countryside.

What makes us unique? For a start, you will be staying in the heart of the grounds of a 16th Century Tudor, Elizabethan manor house, Hoghton Tower. You will be given the keys to your own little tower (a former garrison). You will be immersed in history and benefit from some of the best views of the house. If this isn't enough, you will probably be able to enjoy perusing one of our monthly farmers markets or participating in one of the many events held at Hoghton Tower - all on your doorstep, literally. Last, but not least, know that you will be doing your bit. Your stay will go towards helping us with the upkeep of this part of Britain's heritage.

Rest assured however, no mock tudor in sight here. Hidden behind the historical exterior you will find a stylish rural retreat recently renovated in line with contemporary tastes. WiFi, spa bathroom, flat screen TV, iPod dock all included not to mention an open fire and soft, organic furnishing.

Perfect of a quite weekend away for two, just relax and unwind.
