About us...

The seeds for POB were sown when I settled in the UK almost 21 years ago but really took root when I moved to Wales 8 years back. I’m American but moving to Wales felt like a homecoming; I fell even deeper in love with the UK living here in Wales. So did my family – my five (soon to be 7) children have all become Welsh speakers, and I’m learning. I found that I wanted to buy Welsh cards and gifts but quickly became frustrated with the products on offer. A lot of them were poorly designed, and many were not even made in Wales. Eventually I decided to do something about it – that’s how POB began. The idea was to offer fresh, patriotic designs made in Wales using the best quality materials.

As we grew it became clear that those ideals could be extended to include wonderful products from unique sellers and makers all over Britain. Our priority today is to source products we feel proud of, and products that are proudly British.
