About us...

Lolly & Boo - for handmade lampshades, pictures, lampshade making courses and beautiful homewares.

Lolly & Boo was born in early 2010 shortly after the birth of my second daughter Alice (aka Boo). I was inspired to create a personalised picture for her bedroom and began experimenting with paper shapes. I knew I wanted to create fresh, clean designs which look simple and beautiful.

As a result, Lolly & Boo now specialises in designing and making unique, original artwork using cut out paper shapes mounted in box frames. I use a lot of hearts, quite simply because I love hearts! And butterflies are also very popular. The combination of simple paper shapes and the clean lines of the box frame creates pretty pictures which make wonderful gifts to celebrate a special occasion. The fact that many of my designs can be personalised makes each picture truly unique and a very special way to celebrate a new baby, a christening or birthday.

Lolly & Boo has recently branched out! I now sell a range of fabric lampshades which are handmade by me. I use beautiful fabrics by Peony & Sage, Tilda and Amy Butler to name just a few. They are available in a variety of sizes and as ceiling pendants or for lamp bases.
