About us...

'I have a dream' as Abba (and others) have said. Mine was to open a little shop selling all those lovely things that turn a house into a home. My dream became a reality in 2010 when I opened HOME... in the beautiful town of Dartmouth in Devon, where I've lived with my husband for the last 9 years.

I knew early on that I was only prepared to sell things that I love and it became clear very quickly that I love bright & colourful things !! The shop is always a riot of colour - the only thing white in here are the walls - and it's great when people walk through the door and say how cheerful it is.

I am passionate about finding goods that are designed & made in the UK and am constantly on the lookout for those smaller, independent craftspeople who produce the most gorgeous hand-made goodies that I can't resist. I am proud to stock Emma Bridgewater pottery as I feel she has done a tremendous amount to put an ailing industry back on its feet.
