Welcome to the fascinating world of perfume. The Cotswold Perfumery is a independent family business housed in a beautiful 300 year old grade II listed building in the centre of Bourton-on-the-Water which has been creating and selling fine fragrances since 1966. Guided factory tours, gift shop, ‘make your own perfume’ courses and luxury accommodation are all available.

All our perfumes are made on the premises, in the heart of the Cotswolds, and can be purchased in the shop or online www.cotswold-perfumery.co.uk. Factory tours offer visitors a unique opportunity to go behind the scenes of the Cotswold Perfumery and glimpse into world where fragrances are king and everything is still produced by hand. Learn to make your own Perfume under the guidance of experienced Perfumer John Stephen, who has even created fragrances for members of the Royal Family. Our one day Level 1 (for beginners) and Level 2 (advanced techniques) courses enable attendees to create their own bespoke fragrance from scratch. Following completion of the level one course, attendees can book a day in the laboratory at the Cotswold Perfumery to practice their newly acquired skills and are able to purchase all equipment and materials used on the course from our website. If you choose to combine a perfume course or lab day with a holiday at the Cotswold Perfumery apartments you will receive a £50 discount for each place booked on these courses.
