About us...

Perfect for summer picnics or easy entertaining, our range of award winning hams, pates and smoked poultry are handmade by us here in the small village of Winkburn, just outside Southwell in Nottinghamshire.

37 years ago we converted the basement of our flat and started cooking delicious hams, using the best British pork and our own unique Marmalade glaze.

Our famous Alderton Ham has won many awards, including a 'food hero' accolade from Rick Stein... take alook at the video below.

The range has grown over the years to include fresh handmade pates and terrines, smoked chicken, duck and turkey, and completely delicious and very moreish Christmas puddings (together with an equally mouthwatering brandy butter!)
