About us...

Love and Lemonade Personalised Illustrations was set up in 2012 by Illustrator and Mum of two Kate Evans, from her home studio in Wellington, Somerset.

Originally from Bristol - Kate has travelled around England and Wales over the last 20 years - finally going back to her West Country roots and settling in glorious Somerset to raise her family. She has a business background, is an artist and illustrator, and a proud mum of two gorgeous sons.

"As a mum, I love to buy presents for my children that are personalised with their names. My eldest son has a name with an unusual spelling, and I could never find a card that had his name on. In 2011 I decided to design my own card for his birthday, and from there Love and Lemonade was born. The core of my business is Personalised Name Paintings and Cards. They are beautiful keepsakes and gifts for a special person and occasion. I also design a small range of printed greetings cards which are fun and fizzy!.

I am passionate about hand drawn art. To draw with a pencil or pen on paper seems to be something of a dying skill these days - but I adore it. I always have a pencil and pad with me- and I am always doodling and creating new card designs. I dream of the day when the business has grown, and I can spend all my time creating - with a fabulous team to do the I.T., P.R, Marketing and all the other roles us start-up mumpreneurs do ourselves.

2012 is a very exciting year for Love and Lemonade Personalised Illustrations. I have lots of new customers and created lots of new designs. I have designed my first range of printed cards, and I am launching a new range of Personalised Name Paintings. I am also developing a range of craft kits and materials so that everyone can get creative!

I adore when an order comes through for a personalised product - a new name, a unique design, a gorgeous personal gift to keep; It is a privilege to create a piece of Personalised Art for someone and I love it!

Love and Lemonade Personalised Illustrations was born from having children, is inspired every day by having children and I hope to make my children proud of what their mum has achieved and plans to achieve in the future.
