About us...

Mother nature knows best. That's why there was no better place for our very first spa than the old Cowshed at Babington House, Somerset - and it was here that our very first products were created for an unsuspecting world back in 1998.

Since then, Cowshed's philosophy has remained the same: to create a complete range of honest, natural and therapeutic products, made in England using the best organic and wild crafted plant extracts. Our products have unique and thoughtful fragrances, deliver what they promise and have a positive effect on your body and mind. And in fact, there's still a little bit of Babington in every single bottle in the form of a special herbal infusion sourced from within its Walled Gardens.

GOOD, CLEAN FUN

Our names might be playful (we continue to honour the spa's former occupants with names like Grumpy Cow, Lazy Cow and Bullocks) but we take our formulations very seriously. That means using organic, wild crafted and fairly traded botanicals from sustainable sources, using the highest quality essential oils we can get our hands on and avoiding the use of preservatives and synthetics. On top of which, we guarantee:
