About us...

Ginger & White is a British coffee shop in Hampstead, serving excellent coffee alongside British inspired cakes, sandwiches, breakfasts and salads.

Our motto is 'We don't do grande' and we're serious about coffee. Our coffee is expertly made by trained baristas who flaunt their latte artistry by decorating their coffees with hearts and ferns, the mark of perfectly textured milk. Our coffee beans come from boutique roastery, Square Mile Coffee Roasters, who source seasonal beans from all over the world and hand roast them in East London.

Bored with the same old ciabattas and baguettes, we decided to focus on British flavours. Farmer's markets and artisan producers inspired our scrumptious salads and sarnies, and prompted us to revive some of our favourite British classics, such as eccles cakes and good old victoria sponge. Our signature sarnie is made from meltingly tender salt beef from Devon's Northfield Farm, served with our own cucumber pickles and sweet mustard ketchup.

Breakfast is served daily, while on weekends we spend hours braising our own smoky baked beans, and on Sundays we slow roast a hunk of pork before piling it, crackling and all, into a floury white bap with an amazing pear and date relish from Cumbria.

Inside, you'll find a large communal table with newspapers, pots of homemade peanut butter and jars of marmalade and gooseberry and elderflower jam. We really want our customers to be able to enjoy our space whether they're on their own or with friends.
