About us...

Would you like to learn how to grow flowers in a cutting garden, harvest hedgerow fruit in the autumn or grow an abundance of fruit and veg to feed your family and friends?

Based in the heart of rural northamptonshire, Bay Tree Cottage Country Living Courses offer a range of one and half day practical workshops....from vegetable growing to jelly making we can show you how to embrace country living.

Our courses are designed to get you started, with a combination of presentations, demonstrations and hands-on practical sessions to enable you to transfer skills you have learnt with us to use in your own home and garden.

Bay Tree Cottage courses make lovely presents too! So, if you would like to treat a friend or relative as well as yourself, either choose a course or contact us about gift tokens. We can also accommodate group bookings from garden club members to innovative hen parties!

All one-day workshops run from 9.30am-3.00pm and include home made lunch and afternoon tea and cake. Our half-day workshops run from 9.30am-12.00pm. We will break for ‘elevenses’ where you can indulge in a selection of cakes or biscuits.

Our workshops are designed to be a real treat day ....escape from your daily routine and responsibilities and come and learn a new skill. We'll feed you well with lots of scrumtious cake and a home made lunch ....but be prepared to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in for some serious fun and hard work!!
