Smashing Chintz mosaics are made from broken patterned crockery reassembled to form birds, rabbits, cows and other creatures. Sometimes vintage china plates are used as the background or a brooch clasp may be added.

A new range of up-cycled vintage china has motifs added with ceramic transfers. These can be used for food and for display.

Smashing Chintz mosaic workshops are ideal for beginners and offer an opportunity to explore mosaic using mostly vintage china in a relaxed and friendly studio environment. Learn how to mosaic and grout a mirror frame to gift or to keep. Weekend workshops cost £55 for two sessions.
