About us...

Down To Earth are husband and wife team Phil and Bridget Rogers. We specialise in contemporary artistic metalwork that combines steel with stained glass, blown glass, fused glass, stone and wood to make unusual and distinctive sculptures for the garden and home.

Our garden sculptures are eye-catching and tactile and have integrity and individuality. We feel that the combination of colour, texture and form produce unique individual pieces and bold statements. Our collection of distinctive pieces are designed to sit gracefully in both traditional and modern gardens.

The inherent beauty of the naturally rusted steel in our work is enhanced with exposure to the elements, allowing each piece to evolve and complement your garden and planting throughout the seasons.

All our work is individually handcrafted at our workshop on the Shropshire/Clwyd border.

We also have a small gallery in Shropshire where we not only display our own work but that of over fifty talented British designers and makers, local and national. We are members of Made in Shropshire and Women in Rural Enterprises and we support and feature many local craftspeople.

Our gallery is also the sole Shropshire stockist of stunning glass by Ed and Margaret Burke of E + M Glass and we have recently collaborated with them to create the Enchanted Garden Flower Stem collection - stunning and unique works of art for your garden.
